Shipping & returns


Our policy lasts 30 days, except where noted, below. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Sale items are not returnable. Christmas items are not returnable after December 25. Easter items are not returnable after Easter Sunday. First Holy Communion attire is not returnable after May 1.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused/unworn and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. In the case of CDs or DVDs, the packaging must be unopened. In the case of apparel and related accessories, the item's tag(s) must still be attached. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Gift cards cannot be returned. Perishable goods such as food, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Return Your Item
To return your item, you should bring or ship it to: Joyful Spirit Gifts at 3315 Lee Highway Arlington, Virginia 22207. If shipping, you are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will determine whether your return is approved or rejected. If you shipped your return, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at and we will investigate.

Defective or Damaged Goods
We will replace items if they are defective or damaged within 30 days of purchase, with proof of purchase. Just come by the store or call us at 703-294-4142 to let us know. If you originally purchased the item on our website and we ask you to return the item to us, we will send you a prepaid UPS sticker to cover the cost of shipping.

Returning Gifts
Returned gifts must be accompanied by a gift receipt. Store credits are issued for returned gifts.

  • free ground shipment via USPS for orders subtotaling above $100
